Rental Books for the Summer 2013 Semester

Available for checkout starting 5/28/13

 

At Southeastern, students rent their textbooks instead of having to buythem!Textbook Rental provides Southeastern students an economical alternative to purchasing textbooks. You can expect to save hundreds of dollars each semester on textbook costs alone!

 

The current rental fee for a course which has a rental book is $45 regardless of the number of textbooks required for a course. Some courses do require the purchase of supplemental workbooks or manuals which are sold by the Follett University Bookstore. Students interested in building a professional library do have the option of purchasing their rental textbooks.

 

IMPORTANT THINGS TO REMEMBER:

• Anyone can return your textbooks
• Your student ID is NOT required to return textbooks
• Store closes at 6:00PM during finals and the first business day following the last day of final exams
• Book Drop is available after hours and on weekends
• Dropped books are checked in the following business day

SEARCH FOR REQUIRED BOOKS IN LEONET
 

Check LeoNet to find out what books are required for your classes and if the books are available through the Textbook Rental System or if they will need to be purchased. Just follow the steps below:

1. Go to Class Search section of LeoNet
2. Enter the course information to perform a class search
3. Rental Textbook requirements are available in the Class Notes section of Class Search
4. Purchase Book details are available in the Class Detail Section
5. Purchase Book information includes Title, Author, ISBN, and price

Books that are not included in the Textbook Rental System but must be purchased are available for purchase from the University Bookstore. These books can also be bought from other sources and students are free to purchase these books from any source they choose.
