Welcome to REC Sports & Wellness!
The Recreational Sports and Wellness Department provides opportunities for all students, faculty, staff, alumni and their immediate families to participate in wellness programs and scheduled competitive activities in the 82,000 sq. ft. Pennington Student Activity Center.
The Pennington Student Activity Center houses informal drop-in recreation by providing:
- an 11,000 sq. ft. fitness room
- elevated track
- a 28,000 sq. ft. arena area hosting:
- 4 basketball
- 4 volleyball
- 6 badminton courts
- 2 racquetball courts
- 2 meeting rooms
- 2 multi-purpose aerobic rooms
- locker rooms sauna included
- and a wellness suite.

Membership to the Pennington Student Activity Center provides access to the pool located in the Kinesiology and Health Studies building. In addition, we oversee organized sports clubs like rugby, soccer, and volleyball. The Recreational Sports and Wellness Department offers fitness classes such as spin classes, tai chi, kick boxing, step, cardio and water aerobics.
The Recreational Sports and Wellness Department invites all Students, faculty/staff & alumni to become members of The Pennington Student Activity Center.
Benefits Include: 1/8 mile indoor track, Basketball, Racquetball, Cardio-Theater, Free Weights, Cybex Selectorized machines, Aerobics, Spin ,Yoga and much more.
