The Writing Center offers a full-range of additional in-house services.
Instructional Handouts
The Writing Center offers an extensive file of handouts (e.g. MLA Documentation, Generating Ideas for Writing, and Writing the Research Paper) that serves as writing resources. We are always eager to hear of any handouts that students and faculty would like to see developed.
Library
We maintain a growing library of dictionaries, handbooks, documentation and style manuals, readers, periodicals, literature, and other writing resources for students to use. We also keep files of writing assignments, model papers, and other information for faculty
whose students use the Writing Center. Students may check out books for the day with their student ID.
Computers
Computers are available for students' academic use. Students can also print their papers in the Writing Center.
Study Area
The Writing Center provides students with a comfortable, laid-back environment for studying, socializing, researching, interacting, and learning.
Refreshments
Freshly made coffee is available all day every day free of charge. The Writing Center also has a water cooler for students to enjoy.
