Classrooms & Lab Space
Turtle Cove's Main Facility
At Turtle Cove, the classrooms and lab space are spacious, well equipped, and technologically sophisticated.
In the research station, the classroom has more of a traditional feel, but it is spacious enough for 20-30 students to perform microscope work or sort plant collections while allowing instructors to use the LCD projector or blackboard.

The wet-lab setup at the research station includes aquaria, a natural water plumbing system, a plant dryer, and various field collection equipment. Chemicals, collection jars, dissection instruments, and other laboratory equipment are easily accessible for both the classroom and lab facilities.

Galva Canal Classroom
The classroom at Galva Canal is equipped with an LCD projector and screen, several computers and printers, and tables and chairs for 30 people. The location, just off of I-55, makes this classroom ideal for presentations or discussions before and after field trips or marsh experiments conducted by boat in Pass Manchac, Lake Maurepas, or Lake Pontchartrain.
