Beta Alpha Psi

Description of Organization: Beta Alpha Psi is the national-level honors, professional and service organization for accounting majors. Members and new members invite professionals to speak at professional meetings (most Tuesdays), provide tutoring, and assist with various charitable organization events.


Beta Beta Beta Biological Sciences Honor Society

Description of Organization: Beta Beta Beta is the National Biological Sciences Honor Society.  The purpose of Tri Beta shall be to function as an honor and professional socierty for students of the biological sciences. Description of Organization: The purpose of this organization shall be to unify all undergraduate students majoring in biological sciences, to introduce students to the scientific community by exposing them to current research both in our university and around the world, to expose students to our local natural world, and to focus on environmental issues in both our community and abroad.

 

Black Student Union

Description of Organization: BSU is a community service organization.  The purpose of BSU is to inspire, educate and stimulate African Americans to the benefit of their whole person and their fellow brother. Since its founding, BSU has striven to improve race relations on campus and in the community by creating an environment that is receptive to African American culture. BSU fully stands by the unification of African Americans but we are not limited to it. This organization is open to all students enrolled at Southeastern.

Description of Organization: CSA is the student association of St. Albert Catholic Chapel & Student Center. We mentor and support college students as they mature in faith, personal and leadership development, community building, and social justice awareness. Students grow in Christian discipleship through prayer, faith sharing, study, service and spending time together. Our Monday night gatherings vary in content, and students are provided with retreat, faith sharing, scripture study and service opportunities throughout the semester.

Colleges Against Cancer

Description of Organization: Colleges Against Cancer is a national collaboration of college students, faculty, and staff dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem in the world. CAC of Southeastern will work and volunteer with organizations to support cancer patients and families by raising funds for research and advocating the fight against cancer.

 

Collegiate 100 Black Men of America

Description of Organization: Crossroads Campus Ministry has two branches, Crossroads College Ministry and Crossroads International Ministry. The purpose of both branches is to provide events and resources for college students to meet and develop friendships with those of the Christian faith. In addition, the international ministry will focus on supporting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs that international students face during their time in a foreign country. This will be provided through a Friendship Family program.

Description of Organization: For pre-professional students.  The organization caters to students who are interested in different disciplines within the medical field.  We have 5-6 meetings a semester, each with a different speaker affiliated with a medical profession, scholarship opportunities, etc.  We host speakers, go on trips to professional schools, and attend workshops.

Description of Organization: The Japanese Animation Society is a non-profit, open-group organization that seeks to spread the exposure and understanding of the art form of Japanese Animation (anime). This includes, but is not limited to, legal and licensed screenings of anime TV series and movie programs, cultural, language, and thought-provoking workshops and related events in addition to events that support a spread of knowledge of Japanese animation and culture in other media, and participating in healthy communication with the student body, university organizations, and the university itself.


Kappa Delta Pi

Description of Organization: KDP was organized to recognize excellence in education and has as one of its most important tenets, service to humanity. Southeastern God's Chosen Gospel Choir

Description of Organization: Gospel Choir's purpose on campus is designed to bring college students closer to God, through song, lyric, praise, and fellowship.
