Alpha Psi Omega

Requirements for Membership: Members are required to work towards becoming national members by participating in theatre related activities to earn a total of seven points.

Description of Organization: Alpha Psi Omega is an honor society which recognized college-level theatre.  We run workshops, fundraisers, field trips, and events that revolve around theatre.

American Industrial Hygiene Association

Description of Organization: The American Industrial Hygiene Association is one of the largest international associations serving the needs of occupational and environmental health and safety practicing industrial hygiene in industry, government, labor, academic institutions, and independent organizations. The Southeastern Louisiana University section is run by students and is sponsored by the Deep South Section of AIHA. 

 

American Institute of Graphic Arts

Description of Organization:  The American Marketing Association is a strategic resource for career growth and development. It offers students of all majors the opportunity to meet new people, network with marketing professionals, and attend a wide variety of professional and educational events and activities. Also, it provides an opportunity for students to expand their knowledge of the industry as a whole, and gain invaluable business insight from guest speakers and by networking with other students.

American Society of Safety Engineers

Beta Alpha Psi

Description of Organization:  Beta Alpha Psi is the national-level honors, professional and service organization for accounting majors.  Members and new members invite professionals to speak at professional meetings, provide tutoring, and assist with various charitable organization events.

 
Beta Beta Beta Biological Sciences Honor Society

Black Student Union

Capoeira

Description of Organization:  The purpose of this organization shall be to foster the spirit of Capoeira as well as to gain an understanding of the art through weekly practices, with the goal of eventually becoming proficient not only in the physical art itself, but in the philosophy of Capoeira.

Our Monday night gatherings vary in content and students are provided with retreat, faith sharing, scripture study and service opportunities throughout the semester.

Collegiate 100 Black Men of America

Description of Organization: The DSA Leadership Ambassadors are volunteers who assist the Division for Student Affairs with recruitment events, the leadership development of new students, and the education of students on the rules, regulations, and traditions of university life. DSA Leadership Ambassadors also promote spirit and unity among Southeastern students and provide diligent service to the Southeastern community.

Description of Organization:  Silver Screen Society is a film club that focuses on exposing members to movies they may have never seen before.  Movies are selected by members to be screened and discussed.  The only requirement for the movies screened is that they should not be mainstream, new release movies.  The focus is mainly on classics, foreign film, and independent film.

Southeastern Amateur Radio Club

Southeastern God's Chosen Gospel Choir

Description of Organization:  The Gospel Choir is an organization designed to bring college students closer to God.  Through song and lyric, it allows the people in the organization to minister to a variety of people on and off campus, thus building faith and community.

 
Southeastern Guitar Club
