Staff
The Business Research Center employs doctoral level researchers who undertake industry and economic development research projects. The operations of the the center are overseen by the Southeast Lousiana Business Center.
Dr. A.M.M. Jamal

Dr. Jamal is Associate Director of the Business Research Center. He obtained a BSEE degree from BUET(Dhaka), and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Economics from Texas A&M University. Dr. Jamal is a professor in the Department of Management at Southeastern Louisiana University. He has published approximately 30 papers in refereed journals. Dr. Jamal’s research interests are in the areas of econometrics and operations research, economic theory, monetary theory and policy, and regional economic analysis.
Mr. William Joubert 
Mr. Herb Holloway
Herb Holloway was recently hired as Research Economist for Southeastern's Business Research Center. His primary activities include conducting economic impact studies and tracking economic trends and developments in the Florida Parishes region. Herb previously held positions as a Farm Business Management Specialist with the University of Kentucky and as an Economist with the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries. He holds a B.S. from LSU and an M.S. from North Carolina State University, both in Agricultural Economics.
