Application Procedure
To be considered for admission into the Executive MBA program at Southeastern Louisiana University, a complete application portfolio must be submitted. It is not necessary to submit all materials together.
The complete Executive MBA application portfolio includes the following:
- Completed Application Form
- Application Fee
- Official Transcripts
- Two Letters of Recommendation
- Official GMAT Score
- Current Resume
- Proof of Immunization Compliance Form
- Test of English as a Foreign Language (only for international students)
A new class starts every January.
Application Form
A completed application form is required.
Admission Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) from an accredited college or university with an acceptable GPA
- Acceptable GMAT score
- Two Acceptable Letters of Recommendation
- Professional experience (Five years of continuous, full-time, successful professional experience is preferred.)

Application Fee
The application fee of $20 (U.S.) is to be paid by money order or check drawn on a U.S. bank. Cash cannot be accepted. The payment, payable to Southeastern Louisiana University, must accompany the application form.
College Transcripts
Official transcripts from all post high school educational institutions attended must be sent directly from those schools to the Executive MBA Program. This includes transcripts from all graduate programs attempted/completed.
Letters of Recommendation
Two letters of recommendation are required and must be sent directly by the recommender to the Executive MBA Program. Letters of recommendation should be written by professional associates who have known the candidate for at least one year.
Graduate Management Admissions Test
The Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT) is required of applicants with a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent). However, the test is waived for individuals who hold a Master’s degree or above from an accredited educational institution. The GMAT measures general verbal, mathematical, and analytical writing skills and does not measure knowledge in any specific area. The GMAT score report must be sent directly from the Educational Testing Service to Southeastern Louisiana University (Institutional Code 6656).
Resume
Applicants must include a current resume with their completed application form.
Proof of Immunization Compliance Form
State law requires that an applicant must submit a Proof of Immunization Compliance Form.
Test of English as a Foreign Language
(only for international students)
A minimum score of 525 or a minimum computer-based score of 195 is required.

Application Deadline
The preferred deadline to submit a complete application portfolio is the fourth day of January preceding the start of classes in January. Full consideration will be given to all applicants who apply by the fourth day of January. Applications received after the fourth day of January will be considered only if space is available. Candidates are encouraged to apply early, especially those who will apply for financial aid.
