Dancers/performers for Spring 2012 have already been selected. Thank you for coming out and participating in our Spring audition. We are looking forward to an exciting semester in dance!
Fall 2012 Auditions
Audtions for the upcoming semester (Fall 2012) are scheduled for Tuesday, April 24th and Wednesday, April 25th from 6-8 pm in Kinesiology room 153. Dancers only need to attend one of these two days. Dancers interested in performing must be enrolled in a Dance Technique class. See Courses Offered to select a dance technique class. Dancers may receive a one hour credit for their rehearsal hours and performance in the Fall Dance Concert by registering for DNC 106 Dance Ensemble. The rehearsal schedule is based on the students' availability. Dancers in DNC 106 will attend the set rehearsal time as their class time.
Since the Fall showcase will focus only on tap, dancers attending the audition must bring (and wear) their tap shoes throughout the audition process. Dancers are encouraged to wear clothing that they can move in. We do not have requirements for attire--please, wear what you are comfortable in.
