Welcome to the Summer and Fall of 2013!
The Community Music School instructors and I are enthusiastically preparing and looking forward to our Sonatina Festival on April 13, 2013 as well as our end of the Spring semester recitals. A fabulous summer semester, filled with music is also underway! Our students have continued to achieve remarkable successes both in our program and their respective schools and the entire CMS faculty and I are proud of their accomplishments.
In the summer we will once again have our focus on collaborative musicianship among our four workshops, falling under the name, "2013 Southeastern Music Celebration." The middle school band camp, piano duet workshop, chamber music workshop, and guitar workshop are taught by our best faculty. Click on the link "Southeastern Music Celebration" to read through the information for the workshop of your interest, as there are minimum student qualifications and varying registration deadlines to consider. Because of the success of last summer's programs, we have already had many inquiries - so sign up soon.
Our regular private music lessons summer session runs from June 10 - July 25; however we will adapt your child's lesson schedule around your family vacation plans. Complete information on fees and schedule is posted under the printable "Summer 2013 registration form", however you also have the option of registering on line.
Payments may be mailed to CMS 10817, Hammond, LA 70402, or delivered in person to
the CMS office. If you wish to pay via credit card, you may do so by calling our

Fall 2013 registration materials will be posted under the link "Fall 2013 registration packet" no later than May 13, 2013.
