Department Head, School of Nursing

Welcome to the School of Nursing! Southeastern is recognized as a leader in the preparation of nurses. We offer baccalaureate and master's degrees as well as a doctorate of nursing practice degree. At the undergraduate level, there are several articulation opportunities, including a traditional degree course, an accelerated option for students with a prior bachelor's degree, LPN to RN, and RN-BS options. There are specialty concentrations available for advanced practice at the master's level and preparation at the highest level of nursing practice with the DNP.

The faculty in the School of Nursing is committed to providing the highest level learning opportunities for students in an intellectually stimulating environment that incorporates clinical practice, research, and service to the University and the community. Our programs incorporate knowledge and skills that prepare graduates for diverse areas of practice with the goal of improving health care in our region.
