NATIONAL DAY OF WRITING (Tues., Oct 20)
We'd like to encourage you to write with your students this
day like other
TC's across the country and to share your writing and your
practices with
others through some resources we have set up. We encourage you
to explore
NCTE and NWP's sites, to share your class's writing in a
"writing gallery"
online sponsored by SLU, and to share your National Writing
Day practices
with other TC's via SLWP's listserv. Tasha Whitton, our
tech liaison, sent
out an email about National Writing Day last week with the
