LSBDC Southeastern to host SBA in Mandeville for disaster assistance for local businesses

      HAMMOND – The Louisiana Small Business Development Center at Southeastern Louisiana University, along with the St. Tammany Economic Development Foundation, are hosting the U.S. Small Business Administration on Thursday, Sept. 27, to meet with local businesses adversely affected by Hurricane Issac.

     SBA representatives will be on hand at the Southeastern St. Tammany Center, located at 21454 Koop Drive in Mandeville, to answer questions and help with loan applications from 9 to 10 a.m.

     The program is supported by the U.S. Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship chaired by U.S Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-La.).

     "This event will address many of the lending questions frequently asked by SBA loan applicants," said Sandy Summers, assistant director of the Southeastern SBDC. "Businesses will also have the opportunity to meet win an SBA Disaster Loan officer to discuss their individual questions."

     No appointment is necessary, but registration for the event is preferred. Businesses can register at www.lsbdc.org.
