Southeastern, Franklinton Chamber to host seminar on understanding financial statements

HAMMOND – The Louisiana Small Business Development Center at Southeastern Louisiana University, along with the Franklinton Chamber of Commerce, will host a seminar titled "Understanding Financial Statements" on Wednesday, June 27, from 1 to 3 p.m.
The free program will be held at the Franklinton Town Hall on 11th Street.
"Business owners and their key employees need to make sense of commonly used financial statements and discover what they really mean," said Sandy Summers, assistant director of the Southeastern SBDC. "This seminar is designed to show participants, in a clear and concise way, how to read, understand, and use financial statements when making decisions in a small business."
