Southeastern's Friends of Sims Library to celebrate 4th anniversary with ‘Tea’

HAMMOND Southeastern Louisiana University’s Friends of Sims Library will celebrate the organization’s fourth anniversary with a special event, “Tea with Friends” on Saturday, March 10.
The 2 p.m. event will feature guest speaker Susan Larson, retired book editor of the New Orleans Times Picayune and host of WWNO-FM radio’s program “The Reading Life.” Guests will enjoy a variety of teas and a selection of sandwiches and pastries.
The event is free for FoSL members. The cost for non-members is $25 and includes admission and a basic membership in the non-profit organization, which was developed to lend support to the university’s Sims Memorial Library.
