You Be the Chemist Challenge winners are recognized

HAMMOND Approximately 300 Tangipahoa Parish public school middle school students participated in the regional “You Be the Chemist Challenge” sponsored by Southeastern Louisiana University’s Department of Chemistry and Physics on Friday (Feb. 24). Winners of the quiz bowl competition were recognized following the event. The winners will advance to the State Challenge to be held at LSU later in the spring.
