Configuring Internet Explorer 8 for Collage
If using Internet Explorer 8 please follow these steps to correct known errors which occur when using IE8 with Collage.
Step One:
- Open Internet Explorer
Step Two:
- Click on Tools > Compatibility View Settings
Step Three:
- The Compatibility View Settings box will open with selu.edu in the 'Add This Website' text box. Click the Add button.
Step Four:
- selu.edu should now appeari n the 'Websites you've added to Compatibility View' box. Click the Close button.
Step Five:
- Repeat step one and make sure you see the 'Compatibility View' option checked off.
If you continue to have issues with uploading and inserting images in Collage please follow these steps.
Step One:
- Open Internet Explorer
Step Two:
- Click on Tools > Internet Options
Step Three:
- Click on the Security tab
Step Four:
- Click on the Internet icon then click on the custom level button
Step Five:
- Find the "Miscellaneous" section
Step Six:
- Look for the option that says "Include local directory
path when uploading files to a server"
Step Seven:
- Make sure that option is Enabled
Step Eight:
- Click OK and try to upload a file again.
Your Internet Explorer version 8 should now be compatible with Collage.
