How Do I?

Completing Assignments in Blackboard

The Assignments folder in Blackboard provides a place for your instructor to provide you with documents that are to be downloaded to your computer, completed, and then uploaded back into the Assignments folder.

Activities completed in Assignments are directly tied to the Gradebook.  When you complete a learning activity and upload it to Assignments, an entry is automatically created in the Gradebook.  Your instructor will then grade the assignment and post in in the Gradebook.

Your instructor will direct you to the Assignments folder when there is a learning activity to complete using Assignments.

The instructions below will provide you with some basic guidelines on how to access, complete, and submit Assignments in Blackboard.
