College/Career Fair Program Information

Interested in hosting a program?

First, take into consideration several important factors to help determine if you can or need to host a program for your students.

  1. Is there another local fair your students can attend?   Is there a parish/school board/regional college fair close by?
  2. Do you have the facilities to host an event?  Events usually take place in a large air conditioned room, like a high school library, cafeteria or gymnasium.
  3. Do you have enough supplies to host an event?  Do you have ample supply of tables?
  4. Have you received support from your principal, school board and/or parent association?
  5. Can you combine with another local school or other area program?  If there are currently college fairs taking place in your area, we encourage you to contact other hosts to avoid duplication.

How to schedule your college/career program?

Now that you have determined if you can accommodate a college fair, then complete the online program preference sheet to request your future program date.   Once you have completed this form, your zone coordinator will contact you with a tentative program date and time.  Once you have received your approved and confirmed program date/time, you can then begin sending the invitations.  Changes to the schedule are not recommended once the program has been approved and confirmed, so please verify all logistics before confirming the date with your zone coordinator.
