Sherman scholarship awarded to Southeastern student

HAMMOND - Members of the Sherman family present the William F. Sherman, M.D. Memorial Scholarship
to Southeastern Louisiana University student Heather Hoda of Ponchatoula, center.
The Sherman family endowed the scholarship in memory of the late Dr. William
Sherman of Ponchatoula, a 1971 Southeastern graduate, who was killed in an automobile
accident in 1976. It supports students seeking careers in medicine.
