Ennis elected president of education group

HAMMOND – Willie Ennis III, associate professor of educational technology leadership at Southeastern Louisiana University, has been elected president of the Southern Regional Council on Educational Administration.
The SRCEA is an academic organization representing 14 states with a goal of fostering professional growth and establishing collaborative efforts in the fields of educational administration and leadership. Membership includes university faculty, school principals, superintendents and doctoral students in educational administration.
A specialist in educational technology and mass communications, Ennis holds a doctorate from Kansas State University and master's and bachelor degrees from Southern University. His research interests include technology integration, multimedia production and design and computer lab development and design.
