LSBDC Southeastern offers free class in Mandeville for business startups

HAMMOND – The Louisiana Small Business Development Center at Southeastern Louisiana University will offer a seminar on "Starting and Financing Your Business Idea" in Mandeville on Tuesday, August 14, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The free program will be held at the Southeastern St. Tammany Center in Mandeville.
"This workshop is highly recommended for all individuals interested in determining the feasibility of their business idea, those planning to start or who have recently started a small business, seeking a small business loan, or wanting to learn more about business planning," said Sandy Summers, assistant director of the Southeastern SBDC.
The program will cover entrepreneurship readiness, writing a business plan, sources of funds for start-up and expansion, small business resources, and required licenses.
