Southeastern SBDC and Northshore Regional Endowment for the Arts to host “Meet the Music”

     HAMMOND The Louisiana Small Business Development Center at Southeastern Louisiana University, along with the Northshore Regional Endowment for the Arts, will host “Meet the Music,” a roundtable discussion for current and aspiring musical artists.
The event will be held on Thursday, February 23, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the Southeast Louisiana Business Center located at 1514 Martens Drive in Hammond.
     “This event will provide a platform to discuss pertinent issues in the music industry including music promotion, distribution, and digital technology,” said Sandy Summers, assistant director of the Southeastern Small Business Development Center. “
     Panel experts will include Bobby Levie, local musician and member of True Too Life Band; Alan Lloyd, local filmmaker, entertainment producer, indie promoter and writer; and Lilli Louis, folk-jazz solo artist and writer, award-winning singer/songwriter, composer an opera singer, and classical pianist.
     Musicians and bands participating in the 2012 Strawberry Jam n’ Toast to the Arts are encouraged to attend, but all musical artists are welcome.
