LSBDC to hold seminar to start and finance a small business

     HAMMOND – The Louisiana Small Business Development Center at Southeastern Louisiana University, in collaboration with the Bogalusa Chamber of Commerce and Northshore Technical Community College, is hosting a seminar called "Starting and Financing a Small Business."

     The free seminar will take place in Bogalusa on Tuesday, April 10, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., at the Bogalusa campus of Northshore Technical Community College, 1710 Sullivan Drive.

     "This workshop is highly recommended for all individuals interested in determining the feasibility of their business idea, planning to start or who have recently started a small business, are seeking a small business loan, or wanting to learn more about business planning," said Sandy Summers, assistant director of the Small Business Development Center.

     Summers said topics of discussion include writing a business plan, sources of funds for start-up and expansion, small business resources, and required licenses.
