ERIC (EBSCO)-- Indexes and abstracts educational journals and unpublished educational materials. Includes the Resource in Education (RIE) file of document citations, the Current Index to Journals in Education (CIJE) file of journal article citations, the ERIC Digest records featuring the full-text of the original document. The EBSCOhost version of ERIC provides links to full-text for some recent journal articles, (EJ). ERIC documents, (ED), published in recent years may be available in a .pdf file through a hyperlink to the ERIC Document Reproduction Services (EDRS) site.

JSTOR-- Indexes, abstracts and provides full-text of scholarly journal articles in the fields of ecology, economics, education, finance, history, mathematics, political science and population studies.

Global Directory of Mathematics Preprint and e-Print Servers -- The mission of the Global Directory of Preprint and e-Print Servers is to make available to the mathematical community the current homepage URLs and e-mail contacts of all mathematical preprint and e-print servers throughout the world.

Mathematical Preprint Search System (MPRESS/MathNet.preprints) -- MPRESS is an index of mathematical preprints and not a full-text archive. MPRESS, supported by the Math-Net Project, started under the auspices of the European Mathematical Society. Further development of this resource is currently in the planning phase.

Societies and Associations

American Mathematical Society (AMS) -- The American Mathematical Society was founded to further mathematical research and scholarship. The site contains a stable of electronic journals and the "MathSciNet" database, a searchable Web database providing access to more than 59 years of Mathematical Reviews and Current Mathematical Publications (from 1940 to the present).

American Statistical Association (ASA) -- The American Statistical Association (ASA) is a scientific and educational society. The association's mission is to promote excellence in the application of statistical science across the wealth of human endeavor.

Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM) -- The Association for Women in Mathematics (AWM) is a non-profit organization. The association's goal is to encourage women and young ladies in the mathematical sciences.

Mathematical Association of America (MAA) -- The MAA bills itself as the world's largest organization devoted to the interests of collegiate mathematics. This site includes free book reviews and the Student and Student Chapter page, which provide links to student chapters that have Web sites.

Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) -- SIAM was formed to advance science and technology in industry. The SIAM site contains a professional opportunities area, conference highlights and a resources area containing TeX macro packages, information about mathematics in industry, and graduate programs.
