Peanut Butter Contaminated with Salmonella
Hundreds of products made with peanut butter, such as cookies, snack crackers, and ice cream, have been recalled due to contamination with Salmonella Typhimurium. You can read details about the outbreak and see a list of all the affected products on the Food and Drug Administration's web site:
http://www.fda.gov/oc/opacom/hottopics/salmonellatyph.html
That site is updated frequently, so you may want to check it periodically over the next several days.
