Sims Library Software FAQ



If after entering your UserID and PIN, you get the logon screen again, other software on your PC may be interfering with access.



  1. Try using a different browser such as

    Firefox - http://www.mozilla.org/firefox/
    Opera - http://www.opera.com/


  2. Run a virus scan on your PC.

  3. Run a spyware detection program such as

    SpyBot Search and Destroy - http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html
    (Can be used freely by end users and universities/colleges)

    Ad Aware - http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/
    (The use of the free version is only granted for end users, not users of university/college computers.)


  4. Install all critical Windows updates - http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
