Library Science 102 Departmental Credit Exam


The Library Science 102 Departmental Credit Exam is a computerized multiple choice proctored exam, offered throughout the year. Students wishing to earn credit for the course may request to take the exam.

Procedures:


Students should set up an appointment with the Library Science 102 Coordinator to obtain Departmental Credit Exam (DCE) approval. The institutional fee for Departmental Credit Exam(s) is $25. An $8 fee will also be assessed per administration for each online test.

Preparation:


This credit exam is appropriate for students who understand the information research and evaluation process and are familiar with library resources. The exam covers basic research skills and information literacy competencies.
