
Applying for Financial Aid
Southeastern has established priority-processing dates to ensure your Financial Aid arrives on time. The following dates will assist students in judging when Southeastern’s Office of Admissions and Financial Aid should receive your completed applications:
- March 1 for the Summer semester
- May 1 for the Fall semester
- October 15 for the Spring semester
Complete your FAFSA applicationas soon as possible after January 1 for the following academic year. Southeastern’s School Code is 002024.
Please Note: Other deadlines may exist for particular scholarships and state awards. You should check with the Office of Admissions and Financial Aid for further information.
Transfer Students

If you have not previously applied for financial aid for the current school year, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Be sure to list Southeastern in Section H. Southeastern's Title IV school code is 002024.

If you have already completed a FAFSA, make sure Southeastern is listed in Section H. If it is not, contact the Federal Processing Center at 1-800-433-3243 and have Southeastern added to your Student Aid Report (SAR). Southeastern's Title IV school code is 002024.
- Cancel any financial aid you are scheduled to receive through other schools. (You should contact the Financial Aid Office at each school for specific instructions on their cancellation process.)
Financial Aid Counselors
Southeastern has Financial Aid Counselors available to students during office hours. Southeastern's Financial Aid Counselors accept walk-ins, but it is best to schedule an appointment. Financial Aid Counselors are assigned students according to the beginning letter of the student's last name. Meet your Financial Aid Counselor.
