If you are ready to get a taste of college while you’re still in high school, Southeastern can make it happen. There are three different programs that allow high school students to take college courses and receive credit before graduating from high school.
Southeastern Scholars Program
As a Southeastern Scholar, you can begin your college experience at Southeastern during the summers and throughout the school year while you are still attending high school. To qualify for the program, you must meet the following criteria:
- ACT Composite of 24 or higher
- Cumulative High School GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Recommendation by high school principal
Tuition scholarships are awarded for part-time enrollment to qualified students. Students are responsible for any additional fees.
High school students who complete their senior year with an ACT composite of 24 or higher, and have a high school GPA of 3.0 or higher, can also get a jump-start on their college career by taking advantage of our Summer Scholars Program. Since the guaranteed scholarship package is awarded only during the fall and spring semesters, additional scholarship funding is available to assist you during the summer immediately after graduation.
Southesatern Scholar applicants must complete both the online application and the Southeastern Scholar application (below), and have it signed by their principal and submit Southeastern's Immunization Compliance form (PDF).
