Southeastern has molded me as a well-rounded individual with the privilege of getting involved with extracurricular activities on campus; the numerous experiences these activities afford positively impact my scholarly, inter-personal and social growth. By working collectively with other individuals, I learned to negotiate, communicate, manage conflict, and lead others.
Taking part in these out-of-the-classroom activities aided in my understanding of the importance of critical thinking skills, time management, and academic and intellectual competence. Working with diverse groups of individuals allowed me to gain more self-confidence, autonomy, and appreciation for others' differences and similarities.
