Paving the way for academic excellence
Alumni, students, and friends of Southeastern Louisiana University are invited to take part in " Project Friendship" through the purchase of personalized bricks in Friendship Circle, the historical heart of Southeastern's campus.
Featuring a landscaped park-like setting with the historic Friendship Oak as its anchor, Friendship Circle is the centerpiece of the campus.The recent addition of attractive brick sitting walls has enhanced its appeal as the ideal spot for outdoor studying, campus gatherings and Lion tailgating. The bricks will pave fresh pathways that cross Friendship Circle.
Project Friendship bricks are great gifts for students who are about to graduate or those who attended long ago. Alumni may purchase bricks to commermorate their school years. Parents may want to celebrate a future Lion. Students may want to honor a special faulty member. Whatever the reason, "Project Friendship" bricks symbolize pride in Southeastern.
Each brick will accomodate three lines of engraving and up to 16 characters per line, including spacing and punctuation marks. Brick installations will be scheduled twice a year.
Proceeds from the purchase of bricks will be part of the Development Foundation's Annual Fund, a key source of support for Southeastern's academic programs. In addition, a portion of your $100 contribution is tax deductible.
