GMAT coming to Southeastern

Southeastern's Office of Testing has been approved to administer the GMAT exam.
After months of research, the Office of Testing has been granted approval to offer the GMAT exam. This is a computer-based graduate entrance exam that is required by Southeastern's College of Business. "Previously, our students had to travel to New Orleans or Baton Rouge to take this exam. Soon, they will be able to take the GMAT on our campus." said Director of Testing, Sarah Schillage.
The Office of Testing has been working with Computer Services since early April to develop a testing lab on North Campus. According to Schillage, "Now that we have approval, the certification process can begin. We should be able to administer the exam by the Summer 2007 semester."
The GMAT is the second of four exams being added to the testing schedule. The TOEFL exam will be administered for the first time in early August, and the Testing Office hopes to add the SAT and GRE within the next year.
