Description of Organization:  The purpose of our ministry on this campus is to provide a Christian atmosphere that is condusive to each student's spiritual growth.  We provide inviting programs throughout each week as well as mission trips that are designed with the University student in mind.  Our main objective is to see each student grow spiritually and then to carry that outward onto the campus to impact the lives of countless others.

 

 

Campus Crusade for Christ

Requirements for Membership:  Membership is open to anyone who has an active interest in its activities and who are in agreement with the policies of Campus Crusade for Christ.

Description of Organization:  We serve as a spiritual resource to students, providing information, training, relationships, opportunties, and environments that are conductive to spiritual growth.  Our goal is to turn lost students into Christ-centered laborers.

 

 

Campus Outreach - IMPACT

Description of Organization:  An interdenominational ministry which desires to help students, staff, and facutly grow in and understand thier spiritual journey.

Description of Organization:  All are welcome.  Our meetings consist of praise and worship, scripture readings and discussion.  Each night is closed with a meal provided by the church.  The CSA provides opportunities to attend various retreats and tours througout each semester.  More information may be obtained at the St. Albert Student or call the office at (985)345-7206.

Description of Organization:  Support and provide fellowship to students who identify or  are friends with Latter-Day Saints.

 

 

Praise-N-Motion Dance Ministry

Description of Organization:  This organization is a dance ministry.  Activities include dancing at different religious events, holding fundraisers and community service.

SLU Gospel Choir ("God's Chosen")

Meeting Information:  Gospel Choir will meet every Monday at 6:00pm for Bible Student in MCCL 116 and choir reherseal will be held immediately after Bible study

Description of Organization:  The Gospel Choir is an organization designed to bring college students closer to God.  Through song and lyric, it allows the people in the organization to minister to a variety of people on and off campus, thus building faith and community.
