Student Organizations
Get Involved... Get a Degree!
Student Organizations at Southeastern are an integral part of campus life and one
of the best opportunities for students to learn outside of the classroom. Students
are provided with opportunities to gain experiences and knowledge from the classroom
with the everyday experience of living and working in a society with people of varied
cultures, interests, ideas and values.
With more than 125 student organizations, there's something for everyone!
What is a student organization?
A student organization is defined as a group of Southeastern students joined together
in pursuit of a common purpose, which is in support of the mission, goals and core
values of Southeastern, guided by a lawful constitution under the direction of chosen
officers and officially recognized by the Divisionfor Student Affairs.
How much does it cost to join an organization?
Most organizations have either monthly or annual dues. Cost also depends on the size
of the organization, the organization's purpose, and the type of organization. Many
of them are free!
What do I have to do to join an organization?
