About
As the hearthstone of the institution, the Student Union provides services and convenience for all members of the diverse Southeastern family and their daily needs of campus life. Our focus is to remain responsive to the best services we can offer, not only to Southeastern, but also to the community as a whole.
The War Memorial Student Union Office is located in Room 233 of the Student Union. The Union Office can by reached at (985) 549-5670 and all are encouraged to come by or call for a tour of the facilities.

Non-University Events:
Groups sponsoring a non-university related activity may rent the facility for a minimal charge. Scheduling for such activities is completed by the Department of Continuing Education. You may reach the Continuing Education Department at (985) 549-2301.

Sign Space:
The Student Union has several areas that can be utilized for temporary, banner-type signs. Student Organizations may reserve sign space by completing a sign approval form, which may be obtained in the Student Union Office or the Office of the Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs.

Reserving a Room in The Student Union:

2. From here, click on the guidelines section.
3. After reading these, click on “proceed to form”.
4. Fill in the boxes with the appropriate information.
*Be sure to indicate that you have read and understand the guidelines.
*Include set-up and tear-down time in the event time section.
5. Click “submit this form” upon completion of the form.
6. Retain a copy for your records.
**Rooms are not considered reserved until the organization’s Chairman in Charge receives an email confirmation from the student development office. The chairman in charge should bring a printed copy of the confirmation to the event. ***Reservations are required to be submitted one week prior to an event.
