How to Write a Novel

Taught by award-winning novelist and author of recently released novel “Between the Sheets.” This six-week course will cover the basics of writing novel-length fiction, including story structure, plotting, character development, dialogue, description and point of view.

Art Classes

 

Kimberly Berkeley, Artist and Owner of Berekely Gallery, Abita Springs, LA will teach two art classes. 

Ms. Berkeley  is a professionally trained artist who teaches accredited art classes and has a gallery in Abita Springs. She earned a Masters in Fine Arts at the Academy of Arts in San Francisco and studied art in Italy, Greece and France.

Interpreting Contemporary Art

The first class will be a historical lecture with example images of artwork of contemporary art.

The second class will be a discussion of

controversial issues in Contemporary Art. And the

final class will be a field trip to Second Saturday Art galleries in downtown Covington to view Contemporary Art.

 

Appreciating European Art

The first class will be a historical lecture with example images of artwork from the late 18th -20th century.  The second meeting will focus on online virtual exhibition tours.  And the final session will identify places to go to see european art.
