FALL 2011 GROUP X SCHEDULE

 

CYCLING

Cycling is a one-hour class that utilizes stationary bikes for an extreme cardio workout. Each instructor will take you through a stimulating yet challenging bike ride. This class is sure to make you sweat so be sure to bring a towel and water bottle.

 

ZUMBA

Come join the Z party!! This 1 hour class is great for all ages.  Come dance your rear off to a latin theme that will have you losing weight and sculpting and strengthening your body before you know it.
 

WATER AEROBICS...As of February 1st, 2011 not offered due to pool closure.
Performed in shallow waters using a combination of aerobic techniques ranging from running backward and forward, jumping jacks, mimicking cross-country skiing, along with various arm movements.
 

TAI CHI

Tai Chi is an ancient martial art based exercise that is a series of flowing movements. It is a moving meditation that can strengthen legs, improve coordination, body awareness, and balance, and increase circulation. Tai chi helps reduce stress, quiet the mind and increase concentration. 
 

ABS / BACK

Abs & Back is an intense core workout that helps improve strength, stability, and definition. Focuses on entire abdominal and back muscles.

 

LOVE YOUR LEGS
This class will help you get the legs you have always wanted. A workout designed to shape the legs, glutes, and other troublesome areas.

 

YOGA

This class is open to all experience levels.  It will focus on the fundamentals of traditional Hatha Yoga postures with attention to breathing, mental focus and alignment.  Yoga trains you in strength, endurance, and flexility, as well as relieving stress and gaining better control over your emotions and mind.
