Bulletin - Cell Phone Snatching on Infirmary Drive

A student reported an unidentified subject grabbed her cell phone from her hand and drove away.
The University Police Department is investigating a reported simple robbery that occurred on Monday, March 3, 2008, on Infirmary Drive near the Vera Thomason Health Center at about 6:00 PM.
The victim reported an unidentified passenger in a 1997 to 1998 model white Dodge Stratus asked for her phone number. She declined to give it, but asked for his number instead. When she pulled out her cell phone to type in the subject’s phone number, the subject grabbed the phone from her hand the driver of the vehicle drove away. No injuries were reported and no weapons were involved.
The passenger who grabbed the phone is described as a heavy-set black male with a caramel complexion wearing a white and orange striped collared shirt, possibly named “Greg.”
The driver of the vehicle is described as a dark-skinned black male, thinner than the passenger, wearing a white tee shirt.
