Vehicle Reservations
The Physical Plant Services has 8 fleet vehicles for campus use. There are four cars and four vans.
*Contact Jennifer at 985-549-3333 for availability of pool vehicles.
*Send in vehicle request as far in advance as possible. Each request must be TYPED - handwritten request will be returned.
*Driver must have successfully completed the Defensive Driving Course through the Safety office.
*If driving a van, driver must have Class D (chauffeur) license.
*Upon returning vehicle, the back of the vehicle request must be completed in full. Also, the log sheet that remains in the vehicle must be completed upon returning from the trip.
*Your personal vehicle can be parked in the exact location from which the University Pool Vehicle is taken. Failure to park in the designated parking space will result in a ticket.
*Failure to cancel a University vehicle will result in a $25.00 fee.
*Notify PPS of any changes about reservation. If PPS is not notified, the Department will be charged for any overtime charges incurred to service the vehicle. For example: If the reservations are for 7:00am but the vehicle is not picked up until later, the department will be charged.
*Students are not allowed to drive University vans.
*Graduate Assistants may drive the university vehicles. Graduate students and student workers are not allowed to drive university vans.
*Only the drivers listed on the Vehicle Reservation Request may drive the vehicle.
*Vehicle Reservation Requests forms can be picked up at Physical Plant Office.

Emergency Procedures
If there is any problems with the fleet vehicle, please contact the Physical Plant Services.
