Leadership Development/Student Activities
Leadership Development is designed to help students discover and develop their leadership
abilities. The Office for Student Engagement offers unique opportunities for students
on all levels of leadership training. Among these opportunities are ExCel Scholarships which
are awarded to twenty high school seniors who demonstrate excellence in both their
academic and extracurricular activities during their high school careers, DSA Ambassadors
who volunteer to promote spirit and unity among Southeastern students and provide
diligent service to the Southeastern community , and Emerging Leaders Retreat which
is open to any Southeastern students who are looking to become involved on campus
