Intellectual Property Disclosure Form - The purpose of the Intellectual Property Disclosure Form is to allow a person, or persons, to announce research projects and claim a level of ownership. This form need only be filled out if the researcher wishes to negotiate an ownership agreement with the University that differs from the standards set forth in the University's Intellectual Property Policy and the faculty handbook.

Invention Disclosure - If you recently developed something new and useful or achieved unusual or non-obvious research results that may have commercial value, you are required to disclose your discovery to the university and your sponsor. Filing an Invention Disclosure Form is the first step in evaluating the technology for possible patenting and licensing.

Confidentiality Agreement Sample Template - A confidentially agreement, also known as a Non-Disclosure Agreement, is signed between two parties prior to the exchange of sensitive or proprietary research information. Several versions of the agreements are available depending upon the circumstances. The Office of Intellectual Property will supply the proper agreement and negotiate the signature of the agreement on behalf of the faculty.
