Qualifications
Earned doctorate in educational psychology or a related area with an emphasis in educational psychology by August 11, 2008. Candidates must be eligible for a Louisiana Teaching certificate, meet all Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) credential requirements for teaching undergraduate and graduate courses and have a minimum of 5 years of successful teaching experience. In addition, the applicant should show evidence of scholarly publications, grants, and participation in professional organizations and conferences . Applicants must also be committed to working with diversity.
Duties and Responsibilities
The successful candidate would be expected to teach courses in child development, adolescent psychology, classroom management, and student motivation, supervise and assist with field experiences, advise undergraduate students, maintain an active research agenda (including regular publications, professional presentations, and external grant proposals), model effective teaching practices, use instructional technology, and perform university service.

Qualifications
PhD, MFA or equivalent terminal degree in Directing/Acting. Candidate must have undergraduate teaching, directing and actor training experience at the university/college level, as well as professional directing experience. Candidate must also be committed to working with diversity.
Duties and Responsibilities
Directing two productions per year, teaching beginning and advanced acting and directing, special topics courses, and introduction to theatre. Other teaching responsibilities may include theatre history and production. Successful candidates are expected to continue professional development, participate in curriculum development, advising, and other obligations of a full-time faculty member.
