United Federation of College Teachers - UFCT AFL-CIO affiliated. Membership dues of $38.00 per month provide $2 million in liability insurance, $20,000 life insurance policy and other benefits. There are union meetings held every semester, and also an annual crawfish boil held each May for all faculty members.
