Health and health insurance is often the last thing on a student’s mind. Accidents and illnesses do happen to even the most careful and robust student.
Domestic Students:
If you do not currently have medical insurance coverage, there is an optional student health insurance plan you may purchase, through a private company.
The American College Student Association has three (3) policies available for US residents, underwritten by United Healthcare. They are the Budget Plan, Plan 2101-22, and Plan 2101-23. Deductibles range from $5000, $500, and $350 respectfully and include 80% PPO coverage with prescription drug benefits. International Students:
All non-immigrant students admitted to the university are eligible. They are automatically enrolled in this plan atregistration, and the premium is included in tuition billing.
