Welcome to Southeastern Louisiana University and the many opportunities that await you! You will find many organizations and activities in a variety of areas. We encourage you to take advantage of these opportunities and to get involved in a wide range of activities to balance your academic work.
One unique area that you can get involved with on campus is the Greek community. Greek organizations offer a unique living and learning environment that is different from all other student groups. The sororities at Southeatern were founded on the ideals of scholarship, leadership, service, and involvement. These organizations also provide an opportunity to network with alumnae and other members nationwide. Membership is not just a college activity, but a lifetime experience.
The Greek Community at Southeastern Louisiana University is composed 19 (inter)national Greek letter organizations. Many students find that joining a fraternity or sorority provides them a home away from home and a foundation upon which to build a new and exciting future. In addition, Southeastern's Greek community opens many doors by providing leadership, academic, athletic, service, and interpersonal opportunities. The decision to join a Greek letter organization is a lifelong commitment with an organization that stands for the best things college has to offer.
