How to Apply for Federal Financial Aid

With the exception of those students who only wish to apply for the Federal PLUS Loan program, students must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to determine their eligibility for Title IV federal financial assistance. Please see the Department of Education's Student Guides for more information about federal student aid.

The FAFSA is available through your high school counselor or the Southeastern Financial Aid Office. You may also complete an application on the Internet through the Department of Education's FAFSA on the Web site. Students need to reapply each year for federal financial aid, as it does not automatically renew.

For further information about federal Title IV student aid programs, please visit the US Department of Education.
