Center for Faculty Excellence

Welcome to the Center for Faculty Excellence (Center), Southeastern's one-stop shop for faculty support!

Since our inception in 1997, the Center has been dedicated to the support, promotion, and enhancement of teaching and learning at Southeastern. We realize that our University's most valuable asset is our dedicated faculty.

In the Center you will find useful reference materials on teaching and learning in both traditional and online classrooms, a cozy spot to read, study, collaborate, or reflect, and a welcoming staff. Perhaps you might join a community of faculty gathered in our Training Room for a workshop on Blackboard or student engagement. Develop your computer and/or software skills in our support Lab. Check-out a laptop and projector for an upcoming conference presentation. Apply for an internal grant to support an upcoming teaching initiative. Learn how service-learning can enhance your students' learning, and interact with your colleagues on solutions and strategies for meeting the biggest faculty challenges. All this, and much more!

We invite you to visit the Center in Tinsley Hall, 105. Our enthusiastic and experienced staff is eager to meet and assist you with all aspects of academic life.
