eRecruiting

Experience eRecruiting is a job search assistance system designed to make your job search easier and more efficient. All positions posted with our office - part-time, internship, and full-time, post-graduation - are entered into the eRecruiting database. To use eRecruiting you must register by completing a personal profile in the system and - for some job search services - upload your resume. Once your profile is completed, you will be able to search for jobs in the database.

Student Employment

The Student Employment Office within Career Services at Southeastern continuously works hard to establish relationships with hundreds of employers in an effort to locate off-campus part-time jobs and internship opportunities for any Southeastern student who wants to work while in school.

Part-Time Job and Internship Fairs

Part-Time Job Fairs are held each fall and spring semester. The Fall Part-Time Job Fair, held in August, focuses on part-time positions. The Summer Jobs and Internships Fair, held in April, focuses on summer jobs & internships. These job fairs are casual events held in the Student Union Mall area - come “as you are” in between your classes.

Career Fairs

Career Fair is an annual, university-wide event held each fall semester, featuring over 130 local and national employers seeking to fill positions within their organizations. Employers attend Career Fair to meet many candidates and determine who would be the best fit for future interviews. Career Fair is an excellent way to network with multiple organizations - all in one location - and learn about career opportunities. This is more formal event than the Part-Time Job Fairs, and professional attire is expected. Career Services office offers Pre-Fair Events and tips to prepare you for attending.

Employer Recruitment Tables in the Union

Employers have the opportunity to set-up recruitment tables in the Student Union Mall area to promote job opportunities within their organizations. Students are encouraged to speak with employers about their organizations and available opportunities. Details about scheduled Recruitment Tables can be found in eRecruiting, under Events in the Calendar.

Employer Information Sessions

Some employers will present Information Sessions, mainly during afternoon or evening hours, providing students the opportunity to learn more about their organizations and career opportunities in an informal business social setting. Details about scheduled Information Sessions are provided in eRecruiting, under Events in the Calendar.
