On-Campus Interview Process
On-Campus Interviews (OCI) occur every Fall and Spring semester in the Office of Career Services. They begin when an employer contacts Career Services expressing an interest in conducting interviews here at Southeastern for students and alumni looking for full-time careers.
Employers will notify us thirty to sixty days in advance of the date they would like to conduct their interviews. Career Services posts the interview information in eRecruiting and on the OCI Schedule webpage. We also promote interviews via fliers posted around campus, emails to students, and through informing appropriate faculty about the opportunities available.
Employers have the option of conducting Preselect and Open Interviews.
Students and Alumni will be able to sign up for a chance to interview until the application deadline which is generally two weeks prior to the interview date for Pre-Select interviews and one week prior to the interview date for Open. Signing up for an OCI is done through eRecruiting.

If you sign up for an Open OCI, you are guaranteed an interview with the employer at the time you select. Please come prepared to interview professionally at the time you have selected.
If you sign up for a Pre-select OCI, your resume will be submitted to the employer one business day following the application deadline. The employer will then review all resumes submitted and pre-select those candidates they would like to interview. You will receive an email notification via your eRecruiting account that updates your status in the process. If you are selected as an “accepted” candidate, you can go into eRecruiting and go to the Applications section to select an interview time. Interview times are available on a first-come, first-served basis, so act quickly to get the time you want. If you are selected as an “alternate” candidate, you can go into eRecruiting on the date specified and select an interview time if any are available.
