High School Career Workshops-Summer 2009
Welcome to Zoom into Careers! Southeastern Louisiana University is proud to offer our first series of high school career workshops designed for participants to explore exciting career opportunities and the competencies required to succeed in their chosen field. Our summer workshops will introduce participants to career opportunities available in Louisiana and within Southeastern’s college curriculum. We look forward to exploring career options with you and having a week of fun while networking with high school students from other school districts.
This summer, Zoom into:
Our workshops are hands-on, using the latest technology in our specialized labs to create an interactive experience. We also added a team component to simulate a realistic work environment . Participants will go home at the end of their workshop with a finished product they may share with family and friends or post on the internet. Don’t forget to Zoom into Careers next summer. We will be expanding our program to include commuter and overnight options.

Registration deadline has been extended to June 5th for Finance, Movie Making and TV. Registration deadline for Inventing is May 29th!
